Inspired by Shao Yung-Tien’s work Blue Sky Brings Me Joy, the tart is made with premium ingredients, featuring a house-made blueberry compote, blueberry-lavender Chantilly cream, and a generous topping of fresh, juicy blueberries. Light and refreshing, it offers a balanced sweetness with layered notes of fruit and delicate floral aroma. Each bite reflects an elegant meeting point between culinary craft and artistic expression.
Product Name| imited-Edition Dessert for Responsive Vision: Getulio Alviani — Golden Sweet Secret Description| Inspired by Alviani’s Superficie a testura vibratile, a work that explores the vibratory qualities of metallic texture and releases a sense of movement and permanence through golden light, this dessert translates those visual characteristics into flavor and form. Drawing on the idea of geometric volume, the pastry chef chose Castella cake, presented in a cube-like form, and incorporated ingredients distinctive to Kaohsiung, including longan honey, free-range eggs, and Japanese Violet flour. With its delicate and elegant texture, the dessert echoes the visual effect and refined sensibility of the artwork.

Inheriting a visual language that moves from classical art to Bauhaus, Alviani’s 1.2.3, 1.2.3, ..., Vibrating Volumes creates rich visual impressions through overlapping forms, layered color, and shifting proportions. Drawing inspiration from the work, the pastry chef transformed these chromatic ideas into an edible composition: Blue Mountain coffee ganache, yellow-earth-toned Valrhona 72% nutty licorice chocolate, and vividly saturated red raspberry. Arranged as a puzzle of colors, the dessert invites visitors to explore its geometric combinations through a playful, hands-on experience, while discovering how different chocolate flavors interact and unfold together.
Product Name| Crossing A Time × Der ZÖMAR Afternoon Tea Fragrance Experience Description| Once a place of pause and parting for countless travelers, the former Kinma Hostel also bears witness to a profound chapter in Taiwan’s history. The building became more widely remembered through Hou Hsiao-hsien’s classic film Dust in the Wind, in which it left a distinct and lasting impression. Extending this attention to historical memory, ALIEN Art Centre invited Hong Kong artist Kurt Chan to reinterpret the site through a contemporary artistic language in the permanent exhibition Transition, linking past and present. This summer, the museum joins hands with Taiwanese brand Der ZÖMAR to launch Crossing A Time, an afternoon tea fragrance experience that uses signature drinks and scent as sensory threads, inviting visitors to move through the seams of time and encounter once again the stories and emotions carried by this building through the intertwining of taste and smell.
