The physical experience of light and color further triggers the scenery that people see at the critical point of reality and spiritual perception.

For over half a century, the American artist James Turrell (b. 1943) has worked directly with light and space to create artworks that engage viewers with the limits and wonder of human perception. His fascination with the phenomena of light is related to his personal, inward search for mankind’s place in the universe.
