Following the successful conclusion of the 2025 Video Sandbox Program, ALIEN Art Centre embarks over the coming three months on an International Exchange Program, joining hands with the Macao art space Ox Warehouse to present a successive series of three exhibitions by Macao artists.
With long-standing roots in Macao’s contemporary art scene, Ox Warehouse continues to advance contemporary art exhibitions and cross-regional exchange. Through this collaboration with ALIEN Art Centre, the moving-image practices of the two cities come to mirror one another, together expanding a contemporary art network across the South and the sea.
This cross-regional collaboration brings moving-image works from Macao to Kaohsiung and opens up seeing, dialogue, and exchange between different cities. The three exhibitions will unfold one after another, inviting audiences to experience the many facets of Macao’s contemporary practice amid the flow of images.
