Tao Hui used a single camera (single view-point) shooting continuously to film The Dusk of Tehran (2014). The movie depicted a beauty actress in wedding dress seemingly conversing with the taxi driver in a soliloquy. The content of the conversation was based on the chat that Anita Mui (1963 ~ 2003), the Hong Kong queen of pop who passed away at an early age, had with her fans at her last concert. Tao took the sentences out of their original context and placed them in a completely un-related environment as a hidden allegory for the difficulties facing Iranian women in love, wedding and society after the revolution.

NB:Hong Kong queen of pop, Anita Mui, has her bronze statue established on the Hong Kong Avenue of Stars in 2014, parallel to Bruce Lee as the only bronze statue of Hong Kong artist. The Hong kongese call her "the daughter of Hong Kong."

Driver: Hi
Actress: Hi
Driver: Congratulation ! A very successful performance
Actress: Thanks
How do I look in wedding dress ?
Driver: Very nice !
Actress: But I have missed the time.
Driver: It is also good to stay single.

Every women dreams to have her own wedding dress and a wedding,
I believe I have lost the chance.
I am a singer and actress
Though I have been dressed in wedding dress for multiple times, none was my own.
I told my stylist I was eager to have my own wedding dress
And show my fans on the stage even though no one would marry me.
At last,he made one for me
Simple but luxurious
Maybe,it is dressed for tonight and will be thrown into storage after performance.
Driver: You look very nice in it.
Actress: Thanks
Take it?
Life is like that.
Sometimes, you think you will get your expectation and what you think you will have.
But in fact,you will not.
I thought I would be dressed in wedding dress and get married before 30 years old. And
then have a complete family and my own children at 32 years old. But,I achieved
nothing.
Now,I have finally passed 40 years old. What do I have ?
Driver: You have the supports of many people who like you. We all love you
Actress: Thanks. Thanks to all of you. But,I have to inform that if you are being in love do
not consider for too long
Otherwise, the one beside you will give up after thinking too long
It is wrong to be always in love
A girl has different dream from a boy
A girl dreams to have her own family,a husband who loves her and a life partner. You
see,I have nothing!
It doesn’t matter. I am waiting for Beckham, until he gets divorced.
Driver: You must wait for Morteza Pashaei
Actress: More difficult. He is bachelorism.
Please turn on the music for me.
The setting sun is so beautiful. But nightfall is coming.
